Prior to his private practice, Dr Sein Lwin spent 20 years in public service. He is a Visiting Consultant in University Orthopaedics and Spine Centre, National University Hospital, Singapore and a Visiting Consultant Neurosurgeon in the National University Hospital and Khoo Teck Phuat Hospital, Singapore. He has worked on complex spine cases in National University Hospital for more than 10 years.

Dr Sein Lwin is an experienced Senior Consultant Neuro & Spine Surgeon and is the Neurosurgical Director at the Advanced Brain and Spine Surgical Centre.

Prior to his private practice, Dr Sein Lwin spent 20 years in public service. He has worked on complex spine cases in the National University Hospital for more than 10 years. Dr Lwin was also the Director of the Neuro-critical Unit, National University Hospital, Singapore.

He is highly experienced in spine surgery and in minimally invasive approaches for spinal cord tumours and degenerative spine surgery. His specialised interests lie in endoscopic endonasal and open skull base surgery, pituitary tumours, vascular surgery, cranial nerve disorders and peripheral nerve conditions.

Dr. Sein Lwin is most humble, kind and empathy doctor for all patients including disable, depressed patients. He is qualify, proficient, broadminded and reliable doctor. Previously, my aunt’s left leg cannot walk properly and dragged all the time. Her Left finger had flexion and the whole limb cannot abduct. My aunt”s got complete recovery after removal of meningioma at cervical spine C3, 4, 5 level. She is able to life and walk properly and no more flexion. But Hand lifting have some degree of limitation that need to take a time of recovery due to tumor compression for a long time. Thank you so much Dr. Sein Lwin for your kind benevolence.

My mum went for 3 opinions before she decided on her major operations. After visiting all 3, she feels the sincerity & compassionate of Dr Sein as he is very patient explaining clearly what must be done first if she decided to go for the operation and what will she be expecting during and after.
